ESCO, IDT Energy, Con Ed and De-Reg in New York City
Posted in ESCO, IDT Energy, New York by admin No CommentsFrom June 1998 until April 1999, the first phase of the New York State move towards full de-regulation of power suppliers, about 62,000 customers made the switch from Con Ed to the ESCO of their choice, such as IDT Energy. Although 76,000 customers requested the change, the transition is being conducted in phases so that the effects of the new system can be studied so that all goes smoothly and as planned.
